February 2011 - Astris Wins Mandate with Grupo T-Solar for Italian Solar Project

Astris Finance has been selected by Grupo T-Solar to act as financial advisor for the structuring and the financing of Raggio di Puglia 2 Photovoltaic Project in Italy.

The project consists in a portfolio of 8 small scale solar PV power plants with a cumulated capacity of 7.2 MWp that have been developed and constructed by Grupo T-Solar in Puglia, Southern Italy. Grupo T-Solar has financed the construction of the project on its balance sheet and has now mandated Astris Finance to raise a long term and non-recourse financing package in the Italian project finance market. The total projected investment cost of the project is USD 50 million, with a senior debt of USD 35 million.

April 2012 - Sponsor advised by Astris closes second financing in Panama in a row

Astris Finance is pleased to announce the successful closing of a USD 782m non‐recourse term financing facility for the Balboa Avenue Improvement Project developed by Construtora Norberto Odebrecht. This is the second project closed in Panama by Odebrecht, following the financing of the USD 176m Panama City Historic Heritage Preservation Project in November 2011.

December 2011 - Solar Project Developers advised by Astris Complete the Sale of 3 PV Parks in France

Astris managed to complete the divestment of the three assets in adverse market conditions and in an overall extremely challenging context linked to the recent regulatory changes affecting renewable energy projects and solar installations in particular.

October 2011 - BTA Project Opens to Traffic

Astris Finance is pleased to announce that the 123-km Boulevard Touristico del Atlantico tollroad project, known as BTA, opened to traffic in October 2011. The project, lead-sponsored by Odinsa from Colombia reached financial close in December 2009. Astris Finance acted as Financial Advisor to the Sponsors throughout the development phase.
