March 2009 - New mandate won by Astris FinanceAstris Finance has been mandated by Brazilian contractor Odebrecht as exclusive Financial Advisor in connection with the construction group’s toll road project Autopista Madden-Colón in Panama.
The project consists in the structuring and financing of the extension of the existing section of the highway. Astris Finance has led several projects to successful financial close for Brazilian Odebrecht, one of the top contractors in Latin America including the IIRSA Norte Toll Road Project in Peru (Project Finance Bond Deal of the Year Latin America 2006) or a hydropower project in Ecuador. Astris Finance has been active in Panama since 2001, providing financial advisory services in connection with several projects including water treatment plants, parking or urban transport projects.
