Mariana Quidel joined Astris Finance in 2010 from BNP Paribas, where she worked as an analyst in the Oil and Gas Structured Finance group of the Firm’s Investment Banking division. At BNP Paribas, Ms Quidel closed several reserve base lending facilities including one for the largest independent oil and gas company in Colombia. She participated in the origination and the portfolio management of several transactions with junior exploration and production companies and national integrated oil companies in Latin America. Prior to BNP Paribas, Ms Quidel was an analyst at Dexia’s Debt Capital Markets, where she provided assistance in public sector and infrastructure bond origination and capital markets financings structuring, developed financial models and contributed to the marketing and placement of the credits originated towards end investors.
Ms Quidel holds an engineering diploma in finance and mathematics from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees (ENPC, 2008) in Paris, and a MS. in Operations Research from Columbia University. She is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.
