May 2009 - Astris opens a new office in MexicoAstris Finance boosts its presence in Mexico by opening a local office to cover the Mexican infrastructure market.
Dean Hull, Vice President of Astris indicates that “given the size and the number of transactions that come to market in Mexico, we have decided to increase the coverage of the country by having a local presence in Mexico. For this matter we are delighted that we have reached an agreement to retain a substantial portion of Dexia’s Mexican structuring team, including Juan Pablo Crane and Juan Francisco Toro, who we had previously expatriated to develop the Project Finance practice for Dexia in Mexico. With this step we can significantly increase our reach and presence in such market by combining our structuring capabilities while optimizing the local reach of the Mexican team”.
