We provide the entire range of financial advisory services which an investment bank usually provides, whether as part of a competitive bidding process, helping our client make the most competitive offer by optimizing the proposed financial structure, or through the direct development of non-bidded projects. This includes contractual and regulatory review, risk sharing analysis, coordination and review of demand studies, financial modeling, financial structuring, and definition of the placement strategy, etc.
At the same time, we differ markedly from the average financial adviser/investment bank because:
- We specialize in complex structures in "fringe" area where traditional markets have difficulties or simply do not finance (enhanced structures, subordinated structures, etc).
- We specialize in off balance sheet transactions which enable our clients to increase their leverage and remove as much of the Latin American risk and/or project demand risk from their balance sheet as possible.
- We have first rate relationships with virtually all non-traditional sources of debt, equity and quasi-equity specialized in Latin America and the Caribbean.
- We are deal movers: we are a small, very agile structure. When we take on a project, we assign a first rate team to work in complete symbiosis with our client and under a remuneration structure which gives us a strong incentive to be successful.
