Washington D.C., August 2025 – We are very pleased to welcome Eduardo Muchnik who joined Astris this week as Managing Director, Head of Chile.

Eduardo has a 25-year career, mostly in investment banking and corporate finance in the infrastructure and energy sectors across a variety of roles. Most recent ones include Head of Corporate & Investment Banking at Itau Chile; Associate Partner, Investment Banking at BTG Pactual and Head of Corporate Finance at Santander Chile.

Chile ranks amongst Astris’ most strategic markets in Latin America: in the last 5 years alone, Astris has closed 8 financing and M&A transactions in Chile in the power, renewable energy and e-mobility sectors.

Eduardo will be instrumental in establishing Astris’s local presence in Chile and provide our clients local knowledge and financial structuring expertise in a market that continues to require large investments in the energy and infrastructure fields. Eduardo will also work hand in hand with the other Managing Directors of Astris to further expand Astris’s positioning in Latam.
