Max Ribbens

Max Ribbens is based in São Paulo, where he focuses on infrastructure financing across Brazil and Latin America.

Max joined Astris in 2019 in the Madrid office and relocated to São Paulo in 2025. In between he spent two years as a Finance Director for a green hydrogen developer in Europe where he was involved in every phase of project development and led the project financing strategy and investor discussions. He has 10 years of experience in infrastructure finance, with a focus on renewables and infrastructure.

Prior to joining Astris, Max worked for Rebel Group, focusing on infrastructure and renewables in The Netherlands, and Rabobank.

Max holds a MSc from Barcelona Graduate School of Economics and a BSc from the University of Amsterdam. He is fluent in Dutch, English, Spanish and Portuguese.
