Astris is pleased to announce that the financing of the privatization and expansion of the container terminal in Kingston, Jamaica, received a Deal of the Year Award during the IJ Global Deal of the Year Awards Ceremony in New York City.
Astris advised CMA CGM, third largest shipping line in the world throughout the financing process all the way to the closing of a US$ 265m debt package for a port which started operations in July 1st as CMA CGM's main transshipment hub in the Caribbean.
Astris has been particularly active in the port sector, a sector where we think our ability to navigate complex business models and address bankability issues make a difference in a sector where project finance is a challenge.
