Daniel Uzueli

Daniel Uzueli joined Astris in 2013 as Director based in São Paulo, coordinating Astris’ activities in Brazil. Daniel has over 15 years of experience in the Brazilian infrastructure industry.

Daniel began his career with the project finance team at Banco Votorantim (1998-2002). He then worked as an independent consultant and as Senior Strategic Manager at Alcoa (2002-2005), prior to joining Rio Bravo Infrastructure as a Senior Partner in 2005.

During his career, Daniel has been able to advise project developers in both M&A and project finance transactions. Daniel has had a lead role in securing financings for projects in a wide range of sectors including transportation (roads, subways, ports), power (thermal, wind, cogeneration, transmission lines, large hydro), sanitation, and accommodation PPPs (e.g World Cup Stadium PPP and Olympic Park PPP), among others.

At Rio Bravo, Daniel advised project sponsors in the context of several high profile tenders in Brazil, including the largest hydro projects (e.g the USD 15bn Belo Monte project, or the USD 5bn Jirau project), and participated in the preliminary studies of the USD 20bn RJ-SP High Speed Train.

Daniel holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of São Paulo (Escola Politécnica) and a post-graduate degree in Business Administration by FGV - Fundação Getúlio Vargas, São Paulo. Since 2009, Daniel has been an instructor in the Project Finance program for MBA students at FIA - Fundação Instituto de Administração in São Paulo.

Eduardo Muchnik

Eduardo Muchnik joined Astris in 2025 as Managing Director and head of Chile, based in Santiago, coordinating Astris’ activities in Chile. Eduardo has over 25 years of experience in the Chilean infrastructure & energy industry, mostly in investment banking and corporate finance across a variety of roles. Most recent ones include Head of Corporate & Investment Banking at Itau Chile; Associate Partner, Investment Banking at BTG Pactual and Head of Corporate Finance at Santander Chile.

Eduardo holds a Master in Engineering from the Universidad Pontificia Catolica de Chile and a MBA from HEC Paris. He is fluent in Spanish, English and French, and business proficient in Portuguese.

Nadia Zaets

Nadia Zaets is a Managing Director focused on power, renewables, and energy transition in North America.

Ms. Zaets has over 20 years of investment banking experience. Prior to joining Astris Finance in 2025, Nadia spent over 7 years at Whitehall and Company, where she worked on M&A and private capital raising transactions within conventional power, solar, wind, battery storage, renewable natural gas, and vehicle electrification. Notable capital raises have included CPV Three Rivers, a 1.2 GW newbuild power plant in PJM, an over 1 GW solar portfolio capital raise, and a vehicle leasing and charging platform capital raise.

Nadia started her career as an investment banker at Credit Suisse, where she worked for over 12 years prior to joining Whitehall, focusing on regulated utilities and unregulated power generation. Some notable transactions included a sale of the Channelview Cogeneration Facility, a sale of the Ironwood generation facility, and an acquisition of SourceGas by Black Hills.

Ms. Zaets holds a B.A. in Economics from Barnard College (summa cum laude), an MBA from Columbia Business School, and a Masters degree in Energy Management and Policy from the Columbia School of International and Public Affairs. Nadia is currently an adjunct professor at the Columbia Climate School, where she teaches a course focused on financing of renewable energy projects.

Nadia is fluent in English, Russian and French.

Erasmo Gonzalez

Erasmo Gonzalez joined Astris in 2025 as Executive Director based in Mexico City. Erasmo has over 15 years of experience in the Mexican electricity, infrastructure, and real estate sectors, most recently as head of AES’ regional M&A group for Mexico, C. America, and the Caribbean where he led a team of five professionals. Before AES, Erasmo was a member of Blackrock’s Latin America Infrastructure Investments team where he developed a greenfield infrastructure project for the CFE, the state-owned electric utility of Mexico. Erasmo started his finance career at Citigroup, where he held roles in Investment Banking, Equity Research, and Equity Capital Markets based in Mexico City & New York City.

Erasmo holds an MBA from the Darden School of Business, a Master in Industrial Engineering from the George Washington University, and a Bachelor in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is fluent in English and Spanish.

Joaquin Fernandez-Salvador

Joaquin joined the Washington, DC office of Astris Finance in July 2015. Prior to that he worked as an intern in Astris during the summer of 2014 and the first half of 2015. During this time he has been involved in the photovoltaic energy and infrastructure sectors in a variety of countries, assisting throughout the development and execution stages of several project finance transactions.

Joaquin has a BA in Economics and a minor in Political Science from Georgetown University, from which he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He is fluent in Spanish and English, and conversant in Portuguese.

Javier Osegueda

Javier joined Astris in January 2016 in the Mexico City office. Since Javier joined our team, he has worked on the financing, restructuring and bid preparation for renewable plants, airports, highways, railways and urban infrastructure projects in Latin America and Asia under diverse contractual and financial structures. Now based in Vietnam, Javier has focused in structuring and modeling for M&A transactions in the SEA region.

Prior to that, Javier worked in the Paris office handling day-to-day operations with European clients and lenders for projects on multiple regions and has been involved in restructuring transactions in France.

 Javier holds a BA in Finance from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and has passed Level III exam of the CFA Program. He is fluent in Spanish & English and has an upper intermediate level of French.

Arthur Cury

Arthur Cury joined Astris in June 2016 in the São Paulo’s office. Prior to joining Astris, Arthur worked as analyst for AB Concessions, a toll road business held by Atlantia & Bertin, where he worked on several issuances of debentures for the company, worked on new business development and served as entry point between the business team and the investors relations and treasury departments. Prior to that, he spent one year in Private Equity at Bradesco, 2nd largest Brazilian bank, where he worked on several buy-side mandates in a wide range of sectors, such as energy, infrastructure, consumer goods and agribusiness.

Arthur holds a BA in Business Administration from Insper. He is fluent in English and Portuguese.
