October 2026 - Astris advises on ZEmobility - VGMobility combination

New York, October 2026 - Astris Finance ("Astris") is proud to have acted as exclusive M&A advisor to DigitalBridge and Aberdeen Investments on the combination of ZEmobility and VGMobility, the two leading electric bus platforms in Latin America.

The combined platform operates more than 5,400 electric buses across 16 concessions in Colombia and Chile. It provides mobility infrastructure to the transport authorities of Bogotá and Santiago under long-term, government-backed, availability-based contracts.

Astris advised the sponsors across all phases of the transaction, from origination and structuring through negotiation and completion. The mandate builds on Astris's long-standing relationship with DigitalBridge and Aberdeen Investments. Astris continues to support ZEmobility as it actively pursues a pipeline of opportunities across Latin America.

Sadiq Malik, Managing Director and Head of InfraBridge, on behalf of DigitalBridge, said: "This combination brings together the two leading electric bus platforms in the region and establishes ZEmobility as a leader in Latin American transport electrification. Astris has been a trusted partner to us in Latin America for several years. Their deep understanding of the platform, its concessions and its stakeholders was instrumental in delivering a complex transaction."

Ivan Wong, Partner, Concession Infrastructure, Aberdeen Investments, said: "By bringing together more than 5,400 buses across Colombia and Chile, the combined platform is helping accelerate the decarbonisation of public transport in Latin America. Astris has been a long-standing partner to us on ZEmobility, and once again brought the judgement, discretion and execution capacity that a transaction of this complexity requires. This is another great collaboration with the Astris team."

Romain Papassian, Managing Partner, Americas, Astris Finance, said: "We are proud to have supported DigitalBridge and Aberdeen Investments on this landmark combination. It reflects a long-standing relationship with both firms across Latin America and Europe, most recently on Velian, one of the Netherlands' largest public EV charging platforms. Over the years, we have advised on the majority of ZEmobility's financings in Latin America and helped build the platform, one transaction at a time. We look forward to supporting ZEmobility in its next phase of growth."
